A work in progress, this is the cockpit of a authentic reproduction of Charles A. Lindbergh's Ryan NYP, better know as the Spirit of St Louis. This replica is being faithfully built to the same exacting standards that the original was built to. In this image, one can see the temporary cardboard covering that was installed just for this image to show where the windows were located, as well as to show where the aft bulkhead of the forward fuel tank would be located. Once construction is complete, this aircraft will be fully airworthy, and will fly.
