Lockheed Martin CATBIRD 1
The Cooperative Avionics Test Bed, known by its callsign of Catbird 1, is a highly modified Boeing 737-300 that is used by Lockheed Martin to test the avionics systems for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter. Formerly operated by Lufthansa, this aircraft now sports many unique protrusions, such as a nose radome from an F-35, and a full sensor "Wing" that protrudes from both sides of the forward fuselage, as well as a plethora of antennas.
